Believers 4 Justice is an organization seeking to expose and address the issue of sexual abuse within the Black church. The Catholic Church experienced a scandal dealing with widespread sexual abuse and were an easy legal target because they all fall under the same authority. The Black Church has no formal structure and 1st Baptist and 2nd Baptist have no formal affiliation. The Black Church has various denominations and leadership which make an issue like sexual abuse extremely difficult to deal with internally or investigate and prosecute externally.

The Church must be a safe place for children and families from from predators who use the church as cover and hunting grounds for their sick desires.
